I'm Josh and I just started blogging here on shutterchance. It took me awhile to jump on board because I have to admit that the level of skill in this community is quite high and a bit intimidating. I'll try to keep up.

I'm here for a couple of reasons. 1.) Tumblr wasnt the best place to have a photo blog (or original content apparently). 2.) I'm trying to be a better photographer.

Number 2 is where you guys come in. I've set my schmood to allow any and all comments. If you like my work please say so. If you dont or feel I could've done something better then please dont hold back.

I will be spending a lot of time looking through as many blogs as I can in this community and I will try to provide the same level of feedback that I would want.

I cant wait to see how you all view our world.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

P.S. For all you Nikonians out there, you can add one more to your ranks.

Nice to meet you Josh, I am new too. I am not sure what I will add next. I plan on just letting it be a blog on my feelings at the moment. I love your self portrait and can't wait to view your first post. Once again welcome.
Now I am going to try and find you.
Well I am still trying to find my way around....lol.
Here is a picture for you...I will call it "she who runs with wolves" That must be me.

Thanks for the warm welcome. This image is amazing. I love how the darkness on top and the snow on the ground are split by the gray wolf and the expression on the wolf's face makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I dont know if I would be brave enough to take this shot... I hope you had a very powerful telephoto lens to do it with. That wolf looks quite fierce.
