Going to Italy!

Hi everyone!

In June, my wife and I are going to Venice, Tuscany (including Florance, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, Siena) and Rome.

I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences taking photos in Italy and maybe might have some good advice or things to look out for to photograph, special places, using the camera etc.

I am going to use a Nikon D70 and may take my medium format Yushika which I have recently borrowed.

Hi Ian.
I know you will enjoy it. My wife and I had a 17 day tour in October 06 and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can see some of my pictures at "". These are a very small portion of the 1500 difital pictures we took.
BTW, you can get your digital prints put on cd in most of the small towns in addition to the large ones. I took my D70 and it was very handy. Some of the churches and museums allow photos, sometimes with flash. Others won't allow anything so learn to take pictures with presets anddon't look at your results until you get out. Some have people watching for tourists taking pictures .
If you want any information, email me direct, via my photoblog.
