Having just got into digital photography i was trying to open a raw image in photoshop 7 without sucess can anyone shed any light on how to
please help
iv'e added one of my recent shots which was captured in Jpeg but want to be able to deal with white balance etc.

Have a look at the reply I put on another similar enquiry yesterday, Dave- I think you will find that either PS7 doesn't open RAW files (I use the next version ,PShop CS and I think it was the first version to, but I may be wrong) but the most likely scenario is that your particular camera is not supported by Adobe. As each camera model comes out, Adobe have to write an update to PShop to support it- check the Adobe site which lists each camera it has most recently written uploadable updates for.

Hi Dave, go to the adobe web site and look for raw updates, you will find a list of cameras with update files to download. mal

I have photoshop 7 and if the raw format you are using isn't supported it won't be, as adobe are not updating 7 with new raw as I understand. CS3 is expensive but I think you will find Photoshop elements or Corel psp photo2 may be a solution.

What a beautiful picture. What filter did you use to process it? I'm at my job I often work with Photoshop and I need to know how to do it in it.
